He didn't get his grades.



This is, I think, the third year in a row, that JJ has signed a juco who didn't qualify. (Curtis Muse last year; Chris White the year before.)

Now, before even one practice, we go into the season with only 11 scholarship players.

I guess my "let's sign Dez Willingham" suggestion doesn't look so stupid now.

Yep, hopefully this doesn't hurt us at the point too badly.  The freshman is now gonna back up Bell.
