Nu Mex Ag is reporting on Harry's board, that we play @ NMSU in the Lou Henson Classic in early December. Not sure if the Classic is just one game or a tournament.

Centenary and OSU at home.

Texas, NMSU, and UTA on the road.

Should be a tough one.  They were a solid squad last year, and gave Texas a good game in the Dance.

They will have a new coach though, since Reggie Theus went to the SacKings.

Their new coach is a stud assistant from Pitino's staff.....I think.

Yeah, I knew theus left, but I expect them to be comperable to last season.  I don't think they were that senior orientated last season, but I'm not positive on that.

I always love to play those guys.  Next years team will be so much different, so who knows what to expect in this or any matchup.

I hope we play NMSU every year.  They are a good rival.

Nov 13....Oklahoma St
Nov 21....@ UTA

This according the Buford on the other board.  I'm wondering if OPS is an Exhibition.

Vito sort of verified that schedule, but advised me to hold off on making travel arrangements until the official schedule is released.

Now if Oklahoma Panhandle is our true opener, I can prolly fly in for that one(Banner raising!!!!), Cameron and the Navy football game.  On the other hand if it's an Exhibition - I can fly in for Cameron(banner), Navy, and OSU(Yes!!).

I don't think I could get enough time off(or afford the finacial hit) for OPS thru OSU.  Holding pattern until Johnny finalizes things....

I would bet that Panhandle is an exhibition, and that Cameron is the opener. That would be great, a Friday night opener.....the day before the Navy game.

As to the banner, I hope they will make it a ceremony (the raising or the unveiling). I sure would hate for them, just to have it up before the very first game....with no ceremony whatsoever.

Something tells me there will be a ceremony of some sort to commemorate last season.  I doubt the banner will just be up when folks stroll into the Colesium.

I could obviously be wrong.
