The official site is reporting University of South Florida product Collin Dennis has signed on with North Texas.  He is a 6'2" 185 lb guard from North Richland Hills.  This signing continues a trend of signing transfers from other universities.  Information on Collin Dennis can be found on the following websites:

I'll be honest, this is a bit of a head scratcher.  Perhaps there is something to his situation at USF (obviously it wasn't what he had in mind) that made his numbers so low.  I pretty much don't want to see him putting up a 3 - 30% his freshman year and 25% his sophomore season.

His shooting numbers aren't pretty, but maybe it was just struggling with injuries and being so far from home.  If he is a ball handler, he could help next year (07-08), and perhaps start as a senior.

I hope you are right about the injuries.  Cooley is reporting that his brother is a very highly touted recruit as a sophomore.
I will say this.  Most of JJ's D1 transfers have turned out pretty good.  Shawson Johnson and Kendrick Davis both produced.  Keith Wooden certainly has some size for it..............Roderick Flemings we shall see as well.
