The Pit / Mens Basketball / Re: We play at UTA next season

Okay, thinking about our noncoference slate. We have Oklahoma State at the SuperPit on November 13th, which may be the season opener. Then this one a little over a week later. We'll probably play at Texas in early December.
I'm guessing acouple of other Southland opponents? And more than likely a Bellhaven type in there somewhere.
I'm still waiting to buy plane fare until I see some sort of final schedule. I'd like to try and see Navy(football) and OSU - but I really wanna see the season opener to see the banner go up.
So, my dream would be maybe the first basketball game that Friday, Navy on Saturday, OSU - Tuesday and then fly back to LA on Wednesday.
LOL!

We really don't deserve anything better than Fouts until we can fill the old lady. I know it sucks, and everyone bitches about it, but I went to a handful of contests when we had 20K+(and this was even when we were God awful), and she ain't half bad when people actually ATTEND. If we have near capacity for the next....2-3 seasons the new stadium will come. And we'll deserve it.

Exactly, I have clothing from at least 3 or 4 logos. The only reason I wanted to stay with the script North Texas acouple years ago is because we were winning with the damn thing. I prefered a darker green, but the kelly is pretty sharp too.

I hear ya on the Wide Open thing too. I thought it was a pretty good one, as slogans go. And our alumni are on the cheapskate side. And not just with athletic support, though membership in the meangreen club is pitiful even with the recent uptick. Hell we just went to the freaking Big Dance and didn't have a crowd of 5K last year once that I remember.
But in general our alumni are apathetic. Our endowment is pitiful. Membership in the NT Exes is insanely low for a school our size. Basically the only reason we're a Tier 4 school according to the US News rankings is because of our low alumni involvement. We should be at least 1 tier higher, perhaps two. But when not even 5%(I don't think this figure too far off either) of our alumni give back it just looks BAD.

I love gomeangreen - but some topics need to rest.
Such as: We need to replace Fouts(AKA Plumm's crusade) part 1,913,741 Conference realignment(AKA the Sunbelt sucks so bad let's imagine realignments that are at least 5-7 years away) part 17,643 Uniform changes(AKA we can't agree on a helmet or color scheme) part 12,938
How about your (least) favorite topics?

I've always thought he was a great coach ever since he was at Tampa and resurrected the Bucs. I'm glad he finally won the big one - especially after losing his son acouple years ago.

I wouldn't sign Webber if I were in the Mav's(or anyone else's) front office. He's a shell of what he once was 5-8 years ago...and I find him to be a cancer honestly.
