Roster cutdowns are coming up, down from 24 to 15, then from 15 to 12 for the World Championships.&nbsp; Here is the full list of players.<br /><br />Some of these guys aren&#039;t going to play this summer, but plan on being avaliable for the Olympic practices and games.&nbsp; If you could pick 12 guys off this roster to represent the USA, who would it be?&nbsp; I for one am looking forward to watching a real team play and not a terribly pieced together all-star team.<br /><br />Here&#039;s mine:<br /><br />PG: Chris Paul, Kirk Hinrich<br />Two true point guards that are pass first.&nbsp; Hinrich also brings defense and shooting.<br /><br />SG: Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Michael Redd<br />If Kobe plays team-first, he could dominate, Wade would be offense off the bench, and Redd is the all important shooting.<br /><br />SF: LeBron James, Adam Morrison, Joe Johnson<br />The best player in the tournament and two scorers who can shoot.<br /><br />PF:&nbsp; Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh<br />Yes, Melo isn&#039;t a real PF, but post players are lacking and Melo has proven he can score facing the hoop or with his back to the basket, and is a tough rebounder.<br /><br />C: Dwight Howard, Elton Brand<br />Even if Melo has rebounding woes, either of these two would more than make up for it.<br /><br />Player that should be on here instead of Bowen as &quot;glue guy&quot;&nbsp; but wasn&#039;t even invited to camp?&nbsp; See below.

PG: Paul and Hinrich. It would be nice to have some pass first PGs for once.<br />SG: Kobe, Arenas and Redd. Kobe can do it all if he wants, Arenas is a pure scorer that no international player can stop, and Redd can flat out shoot.<br />SF: LeBron, Marion and Battier. Yes, Battier. I&#039;ve talked a lot of crap about him for a long time, but he&#039;s the kind of guy that this team needs. He doesn&#039;t need the ball, tries to play defense and can make an open shot. Marion can play the 4 as well.<br />PF: Brand and Bosh. If Amare is healthy switch him for Bosh.<br />C: Howard and Miller. Howard is a beast on the boards and Miller can stretch a defense and pass very well for a big man.
