The Bulls are certainly making some noise in the free agent market. I haev to wonder who is going to score for them though.

Not Mavs related, but the Bulls just traded J.R. Smith to the Nuggets for Howard Eisely and 2 second round picks, and the Bulls will cut Eisely after the trade goes through. The Bulls better win a championship in 2 years or else they will have gotten nothing in return for Tyson Chandler because P.J. Brown isn't going to be around long and Ben Wallace is on the decline.

The Mavs sign Darrell Armstrong and trade him with Josh Powell and Rawle Marshall to the Pacers for Anthoney Johnson.<br /><br />Johnson scored 40 points in a playoff game last season. I think this strengthens the Mavs.<br /><br />The Pacers must have really coveted the Mavs young players, nabbing three of them and signing their locker room influence Armstrong.

I think it's a very good trade for the Mavs. We get a guy who can pass and score and who can be trusted in late game situations and in the playoffs, and give up basically the last 3 guys on the bench, one or two of which probably wouldn't be on the active roster at any given time.
