Is it that we can&#039;t afford to buy out Tina&#039;s contract???? (since we&#039;re buying out DD&#039;s)<br /><br />Supposedly Coach S has one year left. Well, she had one year left (during the 2005-2006) season. All that had to happen to get two more years:<br /><br />She scheduled a bunch of ligthweights in OOC....got her team&#039;s record up to 12-2 at one point, and RV jumped at the opportunity to sign her up for two more years. The team fizzled, finishing 19-9 and losing in the first round of the SBC tourney.<br /><br />Anyway, I hate to see us treat women&#039;s hoops like a non-revenue sport. It doesn&#039;t have to be that way.<br /><br />But, it&#039;s pretty obvious, that RV isn&#039;t going to make a change for next year.<br /><br />So, all Tina has to do....win 18 or more....not even make the NCAA or WNIT and she&#039;s probably back again in 2008-2009...<br /><br />The vicious cycle continues.............
