So, here we are a year after a NCAA tournament appearance....and we've signed Ben Knox and now have a commitment from this kid. No offense intended, but we're still at the point where we're battling FIU, ULM and UALR for a kid? That's all I need to know.

Arkansas-Fort Smith Junior College point guard Dominique Johnson has committed to North Texas. I just got off the phone with second player to commit to the Mean Green for its next recruiting class.

Johnson also had offers from Louisiana-Monroe, Florida International and Arkansas-Little Rock. He was a second-team all-conference selection.

Johnson will fill UNT's need for a second ball-handler to allow Josh White to play off the ball next season.
