I agree with those topics being a complete beatdown.

Also throw in the quarterback controversy.

I don't mind discussing positions, but the "name your guy, make up weaknesses for the others, build up your guy's strengths much more than they actually are, and go to war" nature of QB discussions defeats me.

I want the best QB on the field, and I know Dodge will do that.

But if I were able to pick who I personally wish would rise to the top, it would be Wilson. I have 100% faith Dodge will do the best job possible though, so it doesn't weigh on my mind like it does others (who are openly non-stop campaigning for Meager on gmg.com).

I almost brought that up too, but I didn't want to open that can of worms.

Good discussion here. All the threads mentioned above are beatings - so much so that I have drastically decreased my postings there compared to several years ago. Free time has a factor in that as well though.

As many of you know, I battled pretty hard for the logo stuff - but I wear the new logos now with regularity because I love gear with my school on it. . I love the new green (never had a problem with that).

I am not asking for names, but has anyone utilized the ignore feature on anyone?

There's never going to be 100% agreement on any logo. Never. Know what logo I wish we had kept for the last 30 years? The great "flying worm." That was a logo that did what a logo is supposed to do: it gave instant recognition as to what it was about. In other words, if you saw that logo, you knew it was NT. TV stations in Dallas, even used that logo on news stories about NT (back then).

But, that being said....it's not the logo. So, I will live with, and learn to love whatever the school decides is our logo. I have no problem with the new color.....

And, I love the branding. I don't know if you call it a font or not, but the way the letters look on the logo....I love that.

Finally, some of the guys are retarded about that interlocked NT. They need to freaking get over it. Hey, if I can live without the original "worm".......they can get over the interlocked NT....can't they?
