The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Dallas Mavericks are in talks with North Texas to reach an agreement that would place the Mavericks in Denton for the first 5 days of training camp.&nbsp; This would obviously give a little extra exposure to our university and it&#039;s basketball facility.&nbsp; Hopefully more details are released soon.&nbsp; <br /><br />www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt...vsshort.40c3a58.html

This would be huge.&nbsp; Media would be everywhere after the season the Mavs had last year.&nbsp; The local stations and papers would obviously be there in full force and there would also be some ESPN and NBA TV types covering the team.<br /><br />Maybe Cuban will make a donation to NT basketball after they leave town if all goes well.

I think like Coach here. It would no doubt bring media exposure here.&nbsp; All the locals and some of the nationals would make it in .&nbsp; Perhaps bring in a big recruit in for an official visit at the same time the Mavs are in.&nbsp;
