Whitehouse lost by 3 points to Waco University. I couldn't find any newspaper reports. Below is a message board post:
The problem was that WH younger players did not attack the basket, and Waco was good at blocking the slower outside shots of WH. That forced Mitch to penetrate and score, which he did, and when he wasn't Holmen had to hit mid range jumpers and score in the paint. For the most part WH was a two man offense: Mitch and Jacob.
Holmen had a great game, but there just was too many tall and physical players for him to face by himself.
