I think we knew Marquis was headed out of town.&nbsp; It will remain to be seen what roll Crochere&nbsp; has on the team.&nbsp; I can remember Crochere (sp?) doing well in the playoffs many many years ago.&nbsp; <br /><br />

7 million coming off the books will help a lot at the end of next season.&nbsp; That also makes him tradeable for the Mavs, either soon or at the deadline.

So much for getting Mike James.&nbsp; From everything I was reading and hearing, the Mavs were the favorite to sign him, but I guess the Wolves&#039; offer was too good.<br /><br />

It was reported on the ESPN radio Sportscenter that the Mavs signed Greg Buckner. Details of the contract weren&#039;t mentioned. Signing Buckner might mean that Griffen won&#039;t be resigned for another year.
