I like the Tramiel signing as well. I still think we will have a tough road ahead of us though.

I like the Tramiel signing...and while I would've preferred a back up point guard with more eligibility, Johnson has some D-1 skins (7.3 ppg, 2.6 apg in 28 games/11 starts at UM-KC) and he rebounds very well for his size. We may be looking at a miniture version of Snooky Hines.

The Knox signing is a total mystery...I could possibly understand it more if it were like the Hogans signing last season...right at the end of the signing period...but Knox seemingly was JJ's number one target having signed him this early. And he isn't 6'10" 215...he is a frail 6'8" 185...which is fine if he has a perimeter game, but from all I've read and seen he played the 5 in high school and was expected to become a post project here. This signing is really hamstringing what should be a much better class...especially with James Cotton and Andrew Davis showing interest. These are two guys, both about 6'8" 205 who actually managed to average double figure scoring and rebounding in high school...something Knox can't claim.

There has to be something more here

I don't know....his myspace told me he's an awesome kid.

The only way that I can see signing Knox, is if his family is so freaking rich, that our country named the Fort after them.
