What'd Knox average? 7 ppg?

This Johnson kid averaged 9, as I recall.

I guess we plan on beating teams 38-37.

I just don't understand this. Usually there is a jewel or two in each of our classes. At the least I usually feel like we have some guys coming in with potential. I simply don't feel that way this offseason. I am concerned this could be the start of some pretty rough times. Josh White played great this year, but he will have to go to another level to make up for the departure of Q and Wooden.

I'm not hitting the panic button yet. At this time last year Ryan McCoy was the only kid we had landed wasn't he? And he never actually came to school!

Could we be seeing a Dickey-esque lack of concern for recruiting? Does JJ think he is headed for bigger and better things soon?

I doubt it. After four Bowl games I can see why Dickey might've thought he'd get a look from other programs.

Coach Jones has a single NCAA appearance, which was a 1st round exit. No NIT trips. No division _title_s. I know he brought us back from severe depths - and I do believe he's a decent coach(at least better than many folks think, tho not as good as others do) - but that is what it is. He needs a few more skins on the wall before a big program that isn't his alma mater gives him a look. He's a smart guy...he should know that.
