Johnson was signed to be a back up point guard, Those that think White will be an off guard are wrong IMO. I would guess JJ found it very difficult to recruit a high school pg with White with three more years.

I think NT should be at least as good as last years team in 2008-2009. The team with a healthy Wooden was very good, but without a healthy Wooden, it was very mediocre.

Assuming no major help with the last two recruits. The starting point will be White with Johnson as backup. NT has a good stable of wings with Thompson, Dennis, Mangrum and McCoy. I project that Dennis and Thompson will start. I like everyone else am assuming Odufawa is going to be at one of the front court positions. If this guy is not a much better than average player, then NT will be in trouble next year. I believe that Howerton and Stewart will split minutes at the center position. Other than White, Howerton had NT's best performance against WKU at Mobile.

Right now, it looks like another .500 or slightly better Belt team. I think the guards will be very strong but the front court looks very questionable at this time. I hope I am wrong but I don't see a lot of help being recruited this year.

Since it doesn't look like we are going to get a impact big man, I hope to see Stewart starting next season and this team running up and down the floor and pressing like wild men. Use our strengths to our advantage and don't try to make something happen in the paint that isn't there. It will be interesting to see how JJ handles it and if he will change the style of play to fit his personnel.
