Nolan Richardson...is being considered by ASU. (according to Sporting News).

That would be a heckuva coup for our league.

I'd read rumors on the ASU board a few weeks ago that they were after him. Great pickup, if true, for them. Not many former National Champ coaches hang out in the Belt!

Wow, that one would really make them powerful recruiting wise.

Was it Nolan or his kid who brought a gun to practice? I think it was his kid at some small Appalachia school...but I can't remember.

If this Nolan wasn't the one packing...this is a huge get for ASU and the Sun Belt. I don't really think Nolan was regarded as a top notch recruiter (atleast by SEC standards) but the guy can coach. I love teams that play pressure defense (probably my biggest gripe with JJ, especially with the athleticism this years team has) and Nolan knows how to get 110% effort out of his kids.

But, Nolan does carry big ole chips on his shoulders. Any little slight of any kind, is considered racism by him. That's the
only thing I don't like about him. As a matter of fact, when
terminated, he sued Arkansas and said that racism was the
reason behind his termination.

Good coach though. And, if he keeps his head on straight,
he could turn ASU into a winner.

I'd hate to see us lineup against his 40 minutes of hell defense, I know that.
